When the extent of Justin’s addictions revealed themselves almost two years ago, we were undone by them. I was blindsided and Justin was blinded. It felt impossible, completely and utterly impossible – that we could EVER be where we are today. Where is that, you ask? Surrounded by love, embraced by our community, openly sharing things that once drove us both to dark sheds and dark closets in shame, secrecy, & fear. But here we are and we PROMISE to live up to the light that has been given to us individually and as partners. We will probably stumble and occasionally we will choose to give in to the old way of doing life, but it won’t last long and it won’t keep us down permanently. Who we are is divinely appointed for this battle. WE ARE READY FOR IT. WE ARE READY FOR IT ALL.
